Embarc is a stand-alone sample management module that communicates with Surround to track information on required tests. It also tracks shipping information. Embarc knows what tests to run, where and when samples ship, who shipped them, when they were received and the time spent in transit.

What operating systems can be used with Embarc?

Embarc runs Microsoft Windows 2000 and uses Oracle 8.1.7 or Microsoft Windows 2003. Remote support can be provided using Remote Access Service (RAS) included in Windows 2000 or pcAnywhere 10.5.

What are the hardware requirements to run Embarc?

The hardware requirements for Embarc are:
